Richard M. Smiehorowski, FNP-BC completed his medical training and received his Masters of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at D'Youville College in Buffalo, New York. Prior to joining Clinical Neurology Specialists he worked as a pain management specialists.

Mr. Smiehorowski received his Bachelors of Science in Biology at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He did 5 years of Biomedical Research and is a coauthor on several articles. Mr. Smiehorowski received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing from D'Youville College in Buffalo, New York. As a Registered Nurse, he has 11 years experience in orthopedics, neurology, and neurosurgery.

Mr. Smiehorowski is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Neuroscience Nurses, and the American Academy of Pain Management. His special interests are Multiple Sclerosis and spinal disorders.
